FDIC established through the federal Banking Act of 1933; Bank of Parkdale was issued FDIC certificate #92.
Bank of Parkdale was one of the five banks to reopen after the federal Bank Holiday. The reopening was without an investigation.

9,000 banks failed; 49% of the total banks in Arkansas failed, however Bank of Parkdale remained open.
