About Delta Trust Northwest Advisory Council Jim Rinella

Jim Rinella retired in December 1999 as a senior corporate executive. He is a professional civil engineer specializing in structural engineering. He has a BS in civil engineering from Washington State University and is a graduate of Stanford University School of Business. Jim also received an honorable discharge with the US Army Combat Engineers in 1957.

During his professional career, he has served in various roles including President and CEO - Colorado Greenhouse, Inc., President and CEO - James Rinella & Associates - Agribusiness Consulting Company; President, COO, Director and part owner - SunWorld International, Inc.; and President of Tropical Operations – United Brands Company. During his career, he was keynote speaker at many business and trade conferences.

His business missions have been with the U.S. Trade Mission in Korea, Ecuador, Canada, Nicaragua, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Mission in Japan and Jamaican Trade Mission in Costa Rica.

He and his wife, Michele are permanent residents of Bella Vista. They are both active in community organizations.
