About Delta Trust Northwest Advisory Council John Baker

John Baker retired in 2002 after over 30 years in the banking industry. He relocated to Bella Vista from Minnesota in 2006 and is proud to call Northwest Arkansas home. John graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with minor concentrations in Finance and Accounting in 1964. He has attended various banking schools and programs throughout his extensive career.

John has held a variety of banking positions including Vice President of Operations for First Bank System in Minneapolis; President of First Bank Cloquet, Minnesota; President of First Bank Austin; President of MidAmerica Bank, a $120 million asset bank; and DeNovo State bank organizer and President of Bank Vista in Sartell, Minnesota until retirement.

John is currently on his local church Finance Committee as well as Development Campaign Chair.
