Delta Trust Overdraft Policy
Overdraft privilege is a service Delta Trust adds to your checking account to cover overdrafts to a set limit, subject to eligibility criteria. When Delta Trust pays overdraft items for you, you will be charged our normal overdraft fee, currently $32.50 per item plus $5 per day for each day that the account closes with a negative balance. The $5 daily charge starts after the fifth day that the account is in overdraft and will be charged until the account is no longer in the negative. Transactions covered include checks written, in-person withdrawals, ATM withdrawals, Debit Card/POS transactions, ACH preauthorized transactions, internet banking, telephone banking and any other form of debit presented against the account. Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, or you are not making regular deposits, or you have too many overdrafts. You must bring your account back to a positive balance for at least one full business day in a 30 day period to maintain eligibility.
