Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes the kinds of information we collect from our customers, how we use that information, and the limited circumstances under which we will share it with third parties.
Accessing Information
Moore Mortgage, Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Trust & Bank. We will only collect information about you that we reasonably believe or useful in processing or administering products or services.
Collecting Information to Conduct Business
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on your application and related forms
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.
We may disclose the following kinds of nonpublic personal information about you:
- Information we receive from you on your applications or other forms, such as "your name, address, social security number, assets and income;"
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others, such as "your account balance, payment history, and parties to transactions;" and
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency, such as "your creditworthiness and credit history."
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers or customer information to anyone except as permitted by law or in connection with the processing of your mortgage loan application or as otherwise required or permitted by federal or state law. We will share nonpublic personal information if we are legally required to do so in response to a court order, subpoena or other administrative or legal proceeding or to prevent fraud.
It is important for you to know that we do not sell consumer information to third parties and have no plans to do so. We limit disclosure of consumer information to our affiliates and non-affiliated third parties only as necessary to effect, administer and place mortgage lonas on behalf of our customers at their request.
Sharing Information
In the course of conducting business, we may disclose some or all of the previously described information about you to our parent, Delta Trust & Bank, and other businesses including non affiliated third parties as allowed by law such as;
- Mortgage bankers to which we refer your file for approval and/or loan purchase
- Non-Financial compnaies, such as real estate appraisers, consumer reporting agencies, abstract and title companies insurance agents, PMI companies, quality control auditor, financial auditor, ADFA, Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Departtment of Federal Affairs (VA) for the purpose of providing customer serivce and account maintenance, in response to a subpoena, to prevent fraud, or to comply with an inquiry by a government agency or regulator, and to perform services for us or on our behalf to develop and maintain software.
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
If you prefer that we not share information (other than transaction and experience information) within the Delta family of companies, you may choose to opt-out (or ask us not to share). To opt-out, simply send us your written request in writing. Your opt-out request will become effective as reasonably practicable after we receive it.
