RD Eligibility Requirements

Eligible properties have to be located in areas considered to be “rural’ by the US government. Delta Trust Mortgage can quickly determine if your property address is in an eligible area. Generally, eligible areas are located outside of city limits with populations exceeding 10,000 or more. Areas with larger populations, such as Little Rock, Northwest Arkansas and West Memphis, may have eligibility restrictions that are applied on a county level.

Some examples of eligible areas in central Arkansas include but are not limited to:

• Saline County- All of this county is eligible for RD financing with the exception of any property located within the Benton, AR city limits
• Lonoke County- The entire county is eligible for RD financing, with only a few exceptions
