Lindsey Bailey was born and raised in Pocahontas, Arkansas, and was Valedictorian of her 2003 class at Pocahontas High School. She attended Lyon College in Batesville, and then earned a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Spanish at Arkansas State University, where she graduated with top honors.

Lindsey relocated in 2007 to Little Rock and began to work for Delta Trust as a bank teller. In early 2008, she joined the Trust department as an Administrative Assistant, and has since also taken on the role of Trust Operations Assistant.
