Trust Trust Officers Information Sean Barron

Sean Barron joined Delta Trust in July 2007 as a portfolio manager. He is also a financial analyst for Delta Trust Investments.

Sean has a strong educational background. He received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA) and his Master’s in Financial Planning in November, 2004. He also earned his Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP) in January, 2001. He received his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in December, 1997. Sean has five years of financial planning and portfolio management experience working with the Arkansas Financial Group, Inc.

Sean has always had a strong interest in education. Prior to starting at Delta Trust, he worked as a teacher at a charter school in Maumelle. He has taught numerous financial planning and investments classes to middle school and high school students. In the spring, he will be teaching a portfolio management class at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

In addition, Sean has been involved in the community. He has served on the board of Big League, a fund raising arm of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Kids, Life, and Money, and he currently is on the board of the CFA Society of Arkansas. He has also volunteered his time as a Big Brother, teacher, and a coach and has received the Governors Volunteer Excellence Award. He and his wife, Cyndi, have two daughters, Nicolette and Alyssa.
